He has started his harness training in his new home with Brian and Barb Gaskell (Morningstar Siberians of Burns, OR) and very quickly made it known that he wanted to be up front. Brian “makes” Yankee run point at times, so as not to pressure the young dog, but says Yankee is not especially happy about that! Sounds much like his grandfather, Tucker, and his sire, Comet, in their early training runs! Watch for Yankee on Brian ’s mid-distance team this coming winter.
