Sailor has been one of my main race leaders for several years; he will continue to train young dogs and new mushers as he matures. He is an excellent athlete and a calm, steady leader.  He takes his job very seriously and wants to do it right.  Sailor has been bred once in our kennel and has had frozen semen shipped to Australia for future use at Keelinga Siberians.

Sailor was the second of the dogs that experienced a mystery inflammatory response to “something” (Aug ‘04), causing a severe, blinding uveitis in one eye; pathology offered no explanation other than that it was not an inherited condition. Two years later, his health and remaining eye continue normal.

Sailor is breeding eligible to approved bitches. CERF (4/06) and gonio clear.
